We checked for unexploded ordnance and cleared the Strzyza stream 🌫️ along a section of about 80 m in the area of Reja-Kochanowskiego Street in Gdansk.

The work was completed by securing mortar grenades and a hand grenade πŸ’£πŸ§¨. The hazardous items were taken away with a certified explosion-proof container (made by Jakusz) and will be disposed of at a military training ground πŸ’₯.

Recently, for one of our clients, we performed magnetometer surveys πŸ’» πŸ”Ž of the site of a planned construction πŸš§πŸ—οΈ in the Nowy DwΓ³r County. This time, based on the aforementioned surveys, we cleared the site 🧹.

The work included geodetic determination of objects locations in the ground πŸ›°οΈ(with Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon equipment), precise targeting of objects to be excavated 🎯 (using metal detectors and magnetometers), digging them up and identifying them 🧐.

As a result of the work, we removed the unexploded ordnance πŸ’£πŸ§¨, which was secured in a certified explosion-proof container, and will be disposed of at a training ground πŸ’₯.

Often public institutions, planners, contracting authorities, representatives of private contractors, etc., lump all services related to explosive objects and materials into one bag titled "sapper supervision" πŸ€”. Of course, they have the right to do so, but we will try to zoom in on the similarities and differences πŸ”€.

Recently, we had the pleasure of performing magnetometer surveys on a task related to the reconstruction of the Helskie Quay in the Port of Gdynia. Then, together with the Czerwony Szkwal company, we performed the 1st stage of excavation of objects and their identification for explosives. The work will continue.

Some time ago we carried out a site inspection for a photovoltaic farm located in Latvia. We used various types of metal / ferromagnetic detection equipment. The field conditions did not spoil us but it was an important and interesting project for us and the first one in Latvia.
